The job of Secretary/Treasurer is a hard one to define.
When people ask what I do at the church, it's hard for me to give an answer. That's why this logo was chosen for this position.....it requires being able to do just about anything that needs to be done. Complicate that by my being the Pastor's Wife and that just simply intensifies the situation.
But this is a job that I love. One of my favorite adages is "A place for everything and everything in it's place" and I try to live by that.
The position of Secretary/Treasurer carries with it a multitude of duties some of which include putting out a weekly bulletin, keeping attendance records accurate and current, paying bills, keeping financial records and reports, necessary typing and copying for all ministries, and answering phones when I can't get out of it.

There is a promise in Psalms 89:21 that I have had to remind myself of many times. “With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.” And, if I may speak for both my husband and myself, knowing that it was God who placed us here in this church and established us for this time and this place, I also know God will strengthen us for the job at hand.
As Secretary/Treasurer of Family Celebration Center, I am dedicated to maintaining the official and financial records of the church in an attitude of integrity, honesty, and truth that falls in line with the teachings of the
